Description

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention intends to award a sole source a firm fixed price contract to Quantum Analytics for the purchase of Frontier Laboratories Multi-Shot Pyrolyzer system. The Government desires to obtain Frontier Laboratories Multi-Shot Pyrolyzer due to its ability to work with our existing Agilent system and its broad use in the field of micro- and nano-plastics research.. The anticipated period of performance is 06/15/2026 � 06/14/2027. This contract action is for supplies/services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b) (SAP) and 41 U.S.C. � 3304(a Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotations; however, all quotations/responses received prior to the date and time below will be considered by the government. A determination by the government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Any quotation/response should be emailed to Contract Specialist at zwh7@cdc.gov by 3:00PM (ET) on 05/22/2026.
