Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) subpart 12.6, �Streamlined Procedures for Evaluation and Solicitation for Commercial Items,� in conjunction with FAR Part 13.5 for Certain Commercial Items, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; a quote is being requested, and a written solicitation document will not be issued. This solicitation is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through FAR Deviations FEB 2025 CAAC Letters 2025-01/02(eff.02/18/2025), VAAR DEVIATION APR 2025, VAAM Alert 24-10 (eff. 04/09/2024), Acquisition Policy Flash 25-05 (eff. immediately (sent 4/2/2025)). Contractors are required to be actively registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) as a Small Business. Vendor quote may be considered non-compliant and rejected if the Contracting Officer is unable to verify registration and certification status. The Michael E. DeBakey VA Medical Center (MEDVAMC) 2002 Holcombe Blvd, Houston, Texas 77030 is seeking to procure annual calibration services on biomedical test equipment. This solicitation is a Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business set-aside. The government expects this announcement to result in a Firm-Fixed Price Single-Award contract for a base year plus four (4) option years not to exceed five (5) years. See attached RFQ�
