Description
re-solicitation Notice / Synopsis: N4215826QS010 PUBLIC ANNOUNCEMENT OF INTENT TO AWARD ON A SOLE SOURCE BASIS TO L3 HARRIS TECHNOLOGY LLC. Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA), Norfolk Naval Shipyard (NNSY) anticipates awarding a Firm Fixed Price (FFP), Single Award Contract for services to troubleshoot and repair an integrated communication system onboard a Los Angeles Class Submarine. The Government intends to solicit and contract with only one source, L3 Harris Technology LLC, under the authority of 41 U.S.C 1901 on a sole source basis. This requirement meets the conditions that there is only one responsible source who can provide the type of service that will satisfy the agency requirement. This acquisition of commercial services uses policies and procedures of FAR Overhaul part 12. The North American Industry Classification Standard (NAICS) code applicable to this procurement is 336611. The small business size standard is 1,250. The Product Service Code is J059. The period of performance for this acquisition is anticipated to be March 1, 2026, to March 19, 2026. This synopsis is for notification purposes only and does not constitute a solicitation for bids, quotes, or proposals. It is not a request for Expressions of Interest (EOls), proposals, or quotations. No telephone inquiries will be accepted. No contract award will be made based on EOls, proposals, or quotations received in response to this notice. Interested parties may submit a capabilities statement to be considered for future procurements. If parties choose to respond, any cost associated with preparation and submission of data or any other cost incurred in response to this announcement is the sole responsibility of the respondent and will not be reimbursed by the Government. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based upon the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. The contract will be awarded without further notice after 11 AM ET, 25 February 2026. No questions will be addressed.
