Invitation for Bids (IFB) 2-1-QSC-T-26-051 DEMIL A Mixed Metals Scrap Term Contract NASA Langley Research Center � Hampton, VA The U.S. General Services Administration (GSA) is issuing this Invitation for Bids (IFB) for the sale and recurring removal of Government-generated DEMIL A Mixed Metals Scrap located at NASA Langley Research Center, Hampton, Virginia. This solicitation establishes a term contract for the sale of scrap property, with removal required as a condition of sale. The successful bidder shall remove scrap material on a recurring, as-needed basis in coordination with the Agency Government Representative (AGR), and in accordance with all site-specific operational, security, and safety requirements. OVERVIEW Commodity: DEMIL A Mixed Metals Scrap Location: NASA Langley Research Center, Hampton, VA Contract Type: Term Contract (3-year base with up to two 1-year options) Estimated Volume: Approximately 250 tons annually (500,000 pounds) Disposal Requirement: Material must be recycled for material content only SOLICITATION ACCESS This solicitation is available for review and bidding on SAM.gov and GSA Auctions.
