Description
NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE CONTRACT This action is being conducted in accordance with FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Products and Commercial Services. Pursuant to FAR 12.102(a), the Government has documented its decision that only one responsible source is available to satisfy the agency's requirements and that no other supplies or services will suffice. NAVSUP Fleet Logistics Center San Diego (FLCSD) intends to award a commercial sole-source contract to Werres Corporation (CAGE: 2B058). The requirement is for the procurement and installation of Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) proprietary Modula Vertical Lift Module (VLM) components. The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, supplies, and materials to deliver and install proprietary Modula VLM-3 trays, partitions, and dividers as defined in the Performance Work Statement (PWS). This Notice of Intent is not a request for competitive quotes or proposals and no solicitation nor RFQ will be forthcoming. Responsible sources may identify their interest and submit a capability statement in response to this notice by June 30, 2026, 11:59 p.m. PST via e-mail to yesica.l.burrill.civ@us.navy.mil which shall be considered by the agency. Information received will be considered for the sole purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Government to not compete this proposed contract is entirely at the discretion of the Government.
