This is NOT a Request for Proposal (RFP). At this time, no solicitation exists; therefore, please do NOT request a copy of the solicitation, bid documents, specifications, or drawings. Responses or proposals are not required at this stage. The USDA Forest Service Procurement and Property Services, Field Procurement Operations, Southwest Zone, Contract Service Area 6, on behalf of Region 5, is currently preparing a solicitation RFP to provide comprehensive construction services, including the provision of all necessary materials, supplies, equipment, and personnel. The scope of work for this project encompasses the remediation of landslides on two Forest roads located near Harden Flat, CA. Specifically, the work will be executed at two sites on 2S30 (Crocker Ridge Road) and one site on 1S03 (Sawmill Mountain Road). The project involves the construction of retaining structures, such as mechanically stabilized earth walls or reinforced soil fills, to ensure the stability of the affected areas. Furthermore, the scope includes the re-establishment of the road prism and the resurfacing of the road to match the existing surface type. Ancillary tasks comprise vegetation clearing, the construction of drainage systems, and the implementation of erosion control measures within the designated repair areas. This comprehensive approach ensures that the project aligns with the Government's requirements for stability and environmental protection, as outlined in the relevant clauses and procedures. All work must be executed in strict accordance with the terms, specifications, drawings, and provisions detailed in the solicitation and contract. See attchment for additional information.
