Description
The National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA) intends to issue a sole source modification to an existing contract with Technomics, Inc. under the authority of FAR 6.302-1 (a)(2)(iii) Only One responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements to continue supporting the Cost Assessment and Program Evaluation (CAPE). This extension will enable NGA time to complete the follow-on effort competition and support a transition period to ensure no disruption to the current support. The Government has determined that Technomics, Inc. is the only sources reasonably available that has the current skills, experience, and TS/SCI clearance to continue to perform all functional areas. The sole source modification to the existing contract will provide NGA with the ability to provide independent and data driven assessments and program evaluations to drive NGAs future. These attributes provided by the current contractor are essential to NGAs logistics operations to ensure there are no gaps in mission until the follow-on contract competition is completed. The period of performance of the extension to the current contract will be for a total of 1-year. This is a special notice prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 5.2, Synopses of Proposed Contract Actions and is not a request for competitive proposals. A solicitation will not be posted. However, any firm that believes it can meet this requirement may give written notification to the Contract Specialist no later than 12:00 pm EST on 26 November 2025. Supporting evidence must be in sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability to comply with the requirement. Responses received will be evaluated; however, a determination by the Government to compete the proposed procurement based on the response to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
