Description

PRESOLICITATION NOTICE: This document serves as notification of an upcoming solicitation. The VA Northern Arizona Healthcare System located at 500 Highway 89 North, Prescott, Arizona, 86313 has a requirement to replace three 50-year-old facility boilers with new steam boilers. Contractor shall furnish all labor, equipment, certification, supervision, and materials necessary to perform all operations in connection with this project. The work includes, but is not limited to, general construction, alterations, mechanical and electrical work, utility systems, necessary demolition and removal of existing structures and certain other items necessary for completion. All work shall be performed in strict accordance with the terms, conditions, specifications, statement of work, drawings, and schedule of the solicitation and all applicable local and VA building codes. This project will be procured as 100% set-aside for Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) and must be listed in the SBA certification database on the SBA Veterans Small Business Certification Program (VetCert) portal at https://veterans.certify.sba.gov/. The North American Industry Classification Code (NAICS) used for this requirement is 236220, Commercial and Institutional Building Construction with a Size Standard of $45.0M. The magnitude of this construction project is between $20,000,000 and $50,000,000. The VA will issue an Invitation for Bid (IFB) on or about June 01, 2026 via Contract Opportunities at https://sam.gov/. A site visit will be scheduled, and the date/time/location will be provided in the solicitation.
