Description
Amendment P00001 - See updated attachments for Amendment P00001. This acquisition is 100% small business set-aside and is being issued under NAICS 541330 Exception 3 (Marine Engineering and Naval Architecture). The primary place of performance will be designated by the contractor. Subject to space availability and the COR�s approval, place of performance may be at the Department of Homeland Security at the U.S. Coast Guard Headquarters, 2703 Martin Luther King Jr. Ave SE, Washington, D.C. 20593-7430. The Government contemplates award of one (1) time and materials labor-hour contract with fixed hourly rates; however, the Government reserves the right to make no award at all. The period of performance (POP) includes a base period and one (1) 12-month option period. The estimated period of performance will be from 09/01/2026 to 08/30/2028. The objective of this Task Order is to obtain Technical and Engineering support services to develop, test, and document a Rhinoceros model creation tool that can generate a commercial ship hull model with accurate hydrostatic properties using only limited information available to salvage naval architects during marine casualties.
