Description
Weather forecasting services are required to support the safe operation of the MQ-4C Triton Unmanned Air Vehicle (or other Unmanned Aerial System) in support of Unmanned Patrol Squadron (VUP) out of the VUP-19 operations center, Jacksonville, FL, and VUP-11 in Oak Harbor, WA. Level of support shall be 24/7 forecast support position for each operational area supporting a MQ-4C Triton Unmanned Air Vehicle orbit. These orbits are/may be located in the INDOPACOM, EUCOM, CENTCOM, AFRICOM, NORTHCOM, and SOUTHCOM AORs. Expectation is a 24/7 support. Place of performance: Naval Air Station Jacksonville, Florida Place of performance: Naval Air Station Whidbey Island, Oak Harbor, Washington This is a sources sought notice for Market Research purposes ONLY. This notice does not constitute a commitment by the Government. Responses in any form are not offers and the Government is under no obligation to award a contract as a result of this announcement. No funds are available to pay for preperation of responses to this technical description is strictly voluntary. This information will be used to determine the availability of contractors capable of meeting the Governments minimum reqirements. Telephnone calls will not be accepted. Any questions regarding this notice shall be submitted in writing. Naval Supply Systems Command (NAVSUP) Fleet Logistics Center Jacksonville (FLCJ) is seeking sources to determine if there are potentially qualified U.S Small Business Administration (SBA) certified 8(a), Service Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB), HUBZone Small Business, Woman Owned Small Business (WOSB) and/or Small Business (SB) that are capable of providing Weather Support Services as described in the DRAFT Performance Work Statement attached. The potential North American Industrial Classification System Code (NAICS) Code: 541990 All Other Professional, Scientific, and Technical Services. Submission Requirements: Interested sources are invited to respond to this sources sought announcement by submitting the following: 1) Contractor Information: Provide your company name, address, POC name, phone number, email, CAGE code, UEI number and NAICS. 2) Size of business - Large Business or Small Business. If small, please provide the socioeconomic status. 3) If the services can be solicited from a General Services Administration (GSA) schedule contract vehicle or Open market. 4) A brief description of the capability, resources, technical competencies and organizational experience relative to the key task areas. Standard brochures and/or paraphrasing of the Draft PWS will not be considered sufficent to demonstrate the capabilities of an interested party. Those firms interested in providing information in response to this sources sought are requested to provide the above information by 1400 P.M EASTERN, Thursday 19th Feburary 2026. The subject line of the e-mail shall read: Weather Forecasting Services for MQ-4 Triton-Sources Sought. Submissions shall not exceed five (5) single-sided pages in length.
