THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT; THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION FOR PROPOSALS AND NO CONTRACT WILL BE AWARDED FROM THIS SYNOPSIS. NO REIMBURSEMENT WILL BE MADE FOR ANY COSTS ASSOCIATED WITH PROVIDING INFORMATION IN RESPONSE TO THIS SYNOPSIS OR ANY FOLLOW-UP INFORMATION REQUESTS. THE PURPOSE OF THIS SYNOPSIS IS TO GAIN KNOWLEDGE OF POTENTIALLY QUALIFIED SOURCES AND THEIR SIZE CLASSIFICATIONS (SMALL BUSINESS, LARGE BUSINESS, ETC.) TO ASSIST THE GOVERNMENT IN DETERMINING THE POTENTIAL FOR SET-ASIDE/RESTRICT COMPETITION FOR THIS REQUIREMENT. PLEASE DO NOT REQUEST A COPY OF A SOLICITATION, AS ONE DOES NOT EXIST. The 23d Contracting Squadron at Moody AFB, GA, is conducting preliminary planning market research in accordance with (IAW) RFO Part 10 to obtain information from potential eligible and interested contractors for the purchase of for twenty (20) Raider 65 HP Multi-Fuel Outboard Motors (or functional equivalent). These submersible, tactical propulsion systems will be utilized on Wing P4.7 (or equivalent) inflatable craft to support amphibious, littoral, and riverine operations. Please see the attached purchase description for exact specifications and details. The associated North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 333618, Marine Engines Manufacturing, with a small business size standard of 1,500 employees. The PSC code is 2815. Please review this announcement in its entirety. Any qualified and interested companies responding to this announcement must be able to support all areas. NO partial support responses from industry will be accepted. The Government is seeking qualified firms who possess both the capability and experience to provide the supplies that are needed. SUBMISSION INSTRUCTIONS: Interested parties capable of providing the aforementioned items are requested to submit a capabilities statement. The statement must include the following information: 1). Company Information: Company Name, Address, CAGE Code, and SAM Unique Entity ID (UEI). 2.) Point of Contact: Name, Title, Phone Number, and Email Address. 3). Business Size/Socioeconomic Status: Indicate business size standard and any applicable socioeconomic categories (e.g., Small Business, 8(a), HUBZone, SDVOSB, WOSB) under the applicable NAICS code. 4). Availability/Lead Time: Estimated delivery schedule or lead time for the required item. 5). Evidence that the interested party is fully capable of providing the required service and supplies and as such may contain any information that the interested party feels is relevant. 6).
