Industry Day Suspended Indefinitely Due to the recent appropriations shortfall, the upcoming Industry Day has been postponed. We will announce the new date and time on SAM.gov as soon as it is finalized. Please monitor that site for the official update. We appreciate your understanding. Special Notice � Facilities Management (Infrastructure) Industry Day Description The Federal Bureau of Prisons (BOP), Facilities Management Branch, will host an in-person Industry Day on October 21�23, 2025, in Washington, D.C. This no-cost event is open to all industry partners with capabilities in supporting critical facilities construction and maintenance, including but not limited to: � Roofing � Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (M.E.P.) trades � Boiler/Chiller services � Fire Alarm and Sprinkler systems � Security electronics � General construction services Event Location 400 1st Street NW Washington, D.C. Event Schedule Day One (October 21, 2025) � 8:30 AM to 3:30 PM EST: � 8:30 � 9:30: Welcome and Introductions � 9:30 � 10:30: Fire Alarm/Sprinkler & Security Electronics Presentation and Q&A � 10:30 � 11:30: General Construction Requirements Presentation and Q&A � 11:30 � 12:30: Lunch (not provided by the BOP) � 12:30 � 1:30: M.E.P. Requirements Presentation and Q&A � 1:30 � 2:30: Roofing Requirements Presentation and Q&A � 2:30 � 3:00: Utility Requirements Presentation and Q&A � 3:00 � 3:30: Closing Remarks Days Two and Three (October 22�23, 2025): Dedicated to 15-minute industry one-on-one sessions. Interested firms will have the opportunity to showcase their capabilities and openly discuss any questions, comments, concerns, and best practices they have directly with BOP representatives. RSVP Information To attend, complete the attached registration form and email it to bop-adm-fmbchief-s@bop.gov with the subject line: �Facilities Management (Infrastructure) Industry Day� by 3:30 PM EST on October 16, 2025. � Please indicate whether you are requesting a one-on-one slot in your RSVP. � Confirmation and additional logistical information will be provided to registered attendees. This Special Notice is not a Request for Proposal, Request for Quote, or Invitation for Bid. There is no commitment by the Government to issue solicitation, make awards, or pay for respondent's expenditures made in response to this notice. Interested vendors are responsible for monitoring this notice for any subsequent amendments.
