Description
The U.S. Department of Energy, Southwestern Power Administration (Southwestern) intends to issue a Request for Quote (RFQ) to aerially photograph and perform digital mapping for its existing transmission line corridors. These corridors include approximately 1106 miles in Missouri, Arkansas, and Oklahoma. All work shall be in accordance with both the general specifications, site specific statements of work, and site plans/drawings incorporated in the solicitation package. This solicitation will be totally set-aside for Small Businesses. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 541370 and the small business size standard is $4.5 million. Contractor registration in the Government?s Central Contractor Registry (CCR) is required in order to be eligible for contract award. Registration may be completed and information regarding the registration process may be obtained at http://www.ccr.gov. The estimated release date for the solicitation package is on or about July 15, 2011 with quotes being due by August 5, 2011. Once issued, solicitation documents will be available electronically for download. Hard copies of the solicitation package will not be distributed.
