Description

The Department of Veteran s Affairs will solicit for vendors capable of providing Hospital Door Replacement, Repair, and Preventive Maintenance Services for the Western NC Veterans Health Care System, Charles George VA Medical Center, located in Asheville, NC. The solicitation is for a total Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business, SDVOSB, set-aside. This will be awarded as a Firm-Fixed, Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract for One (1) Annual Base Year with Four (4) Annual Option Years. Task orders will be issued as needed for specific projects and may include emergency repair, scheduled maintenance, or full door replacements. Each task order will detail the required work, location, performance time, and any special requirements. A Request for Quotation, RFQ, will be issued on Monday, October 6, 2025. To be eligible for the award, the prospective contractor must be registered in SAM database at http://www.sam.gov and comply with the Statement of Work and Evaluation for Basis of Award at the time the quote is submitted. The prospective contractor must also have updated and correct information in the VA Financial Service Center Customer Engagement Portal. If you are an SDVOSB, VOSB or Small Business and plan on subcontracting, please provide a plan to show how your company provides 51% of the requirement as the Primary Contractor. Also, provide a brief description of qualifications, licensure, certifications, and any other pertinent information which demonstrates the ability to meet the above requirement. The North American Industry Classification Code, NAICS, is 811310 (Commercial and Industrial Machinery and Equipment Except Automotive and Electronic), Product Service Code is J035 (Maintenance, Repair, and Rebuilding of Equipment-Service and Trade Equipment) and the Size Standard is $12.5 Million.
