Description

This notice DOES NOT constitute a request for proposal, request for quote, or invitation for bid. No formal solicitation document exists at this time. This is a request for information. The Asheville VA Medical Center is in need of Rental Apartments for Medical Residents. The contractor shall provide the following: General. Special Requirement -- The Contractor will provide four (4) two Bedroom apartments for rental to Residents assigned to Charles George VA Medical Center, Asheville, NC. The housing must allow for timely access to the medical center in the event of callback for emergencies. Specific Requirements. The Contractors shall include, but not be limited to: Housing shall be in proximity (not to exceed 15 miles) to the Charles George VA Medical Center Asheville NC to allow timely access for emergencies or callback events. The contractor shall furnish four (4) separate apartments. Four apartments shall be a minimum of two (2) bedrooms, with an included bathroom, full kitchen (range, oven, microwave, refrigerator, and dishwasher) and a separate living room. Minimum of 950 square feet. Rental shall include furnishing full-size washer/dryer, TV (minimum 25-inch flat screen), bedroom furniture, living room furniture, kitchen/dining room furniture and basic kitchenware. Rental shall include Water. Provide pest control on a regular and emergency basis. Provide 24-hour security. Provide monthly single invoice billing for all 4 units. Contract Period of Performance will be a Base plus Four Option Years commencing on July 1, 2026. Facility description and capabilities of facility to provide items, including handicapped accessible rooms, and certification of current fire safety inspection approvals. Any other amenities offered. Contractor must establish a date and time for a site visit with Contracting Officer Representative (COR) prior to date of contract award. Site visit will occur periodically throughout the contract. Ensure all invoice documents are submitted in accordance with the instructions provided in the formal contract. If you can fulfill this requirement, please send a capability statement. Please respond by 3/31/2026 4pm est. The NAICS 531110 is applicable to this acquisition; with a size standard of $34 million. If your company is interested in performing these services, please notify our office of your intent. In response, please include the following: A positive statement of your intent to submit a quote as a prime contractor (capability statement) If any subcontracting possibilities are contemplated, please provide subcontractor s name and breakdown of labor and its performance cost Evidence of experience in work similar in type and scope to include contract numbers, project titles, award dollar amounts, points of contact and telephone numbers Past performance references with points of contact and phone numbers Provide FSS/GSA Contract # if applicable. Identify whether the firm falls into any socioeconomic categories Your response is required by Tuesday, March 31st, 2026 by 4:00 PM EST. All capable Service-Disabled Veteran Small Businesses are encouraged to respond. The Government will not pay for any information solicited.
