**Intent to Sole Source Notice** Truxton Canyon Agency Electrical Utility Service Proposed Provider: Mohave Electric Cooperative Notice of Intent The Truxton Canyon Agency announces its intent to award a sole source contract to Mohave Electric Cooperative for the provision of electrical utility service to agency facilities located in Valentine, Arizona 86437, which falls within Mohave Electric Cooperative�s exclusive service territory. Description of Services The required services include the delivery of electrical power, metering, maintenance of electrical distribution infrastructure, and all related utility support necessary to operate agency buildings and grounds in Valentine, AZ 86437. Proposed Contractor Mohave Electric Cooperative, Inc. Mohave County, Arizona Justification for Sole Source Mohave Electric Cooperative is the only authorized electrical utility provider for the geographic area that includes Valentine, AZ 86437. Utility service territories are regulated, and no other provider is legally permitted or technically able to supply electrical power to these locations. Because of this exclusive service boundary, competition is not feasible. Term of Service Base year plus four (4) option years.
