Description
This project involves the design and construction services to repair the roof of Building 0001 at Kirtland Air Force Base, located at 3825 Edith Blvd NE, Albuquerque NM, 87107. The primary objective is to upgrade the existing roof to meet Kirtland AFB standards, enhance operational efficiency, and ensure regulatory compliance. This project will follow a Design/Build (D/B) Statement of Work (SOW), necessitating collaboration between the General Contractor and licensed design professionals. Successfully completing this project will significantly enhance both the roofing integrity and operational capabilities of Building 0001 at Kirtland AFB. The disclosure of magnitude of this construction project is between$1,000,000 and $5,000,000. Please refer to the SOW for more details. PLEASE SEE AMENDMENT 0001 FOR UPDATES. A 2nd site visit has been scheduled for Friday 05 September 2025, 09:00 AM (Mountain Daylight Time) and all parties will meet on the southwest corner of Randolph Ave SE and Kirtland Dr SE on Kirtland Air Force Base. Attendance to the site visit is NOT mandatory and will be limited to no more than two (2) representatives per company. Please submit the names of your attendees and advise if you require base passes to access Kirtland AFB to the below Points of Contact (POCs) by 03 September 2025, 3:00 PM (Mountain Daylight Time). Please allow extra time at the Visitor Center to obtain your pass. The Point of Contact (POC) for base access/EAL request is: Josh Cordova, 377 MSG/CE; Email: joshua.cordoba.1@us.af.mil. If there are additional questions after the 2nd site visit, please submit those by Tuesday 09 September 2025, 3:00PM (Mountain Daylight Time). Answers to the questions will be posted on SAM.gov by close of business on 11 September 2025. Bid opening will be conducted as previously scheduled on 16 September 2025, 2:00 PM Mountain Daylight Time) at Building 20202, 8500 Gibson Blvd SE, Kirtland AFB, NM 87117.
