Description
THIS HAS BEEN AWARD VIA JOTFOC THIS IS FOR INFORMATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY. TECHNICAL SERVICES TO REPAIR WOODWARD MicroNet NT CPU (PN 5466-409) Background. CGC BERTHOLF is usable to start the Main Gas Turbine. While steaming at HP7 on the GT, a Micronet System Faulty (PV131047) alarm appeared on MCS-5 as well as a Hardware Chassis A Fan Fault on the GT Woodward panel. GT operation was not hindered. After securing the GT, MCMS alarmed with a GT Engine Control System (ECS) hardware fault prohibiting water wash from being completed. SF installed three new fans above the Micronet CPU and I/O cards and conducted a reset of the system IAW Woodward Operating Instructions from B91358OI.C with positive results. Again, while steaming in GT mode at HP5 the same sequence of alarms populated. After performing a CPU reset the ECS hardware fault did not clear and the GT is currently unable to start or motor. SF identified ECS alarm code to be "TRBL 20" in TP B91358OI.C, but no further troubleshooting steps are annotated in the manual. Request Woodward tech for CPU inspection and troubleshooting. Scope. 1 FS Engineer for two (4) ten (10) hour travel days and two (4) ten (10) hour days on two separate site visits for following: MicroNet NT CPU (PN 5466-409) inspection and troubleshooting. Provide new CPU 6466-1035. Perform CPU upgrade to Micro Net Plus CPU 5466-1035. This would include uploading new GAP software compatible with new CPU. Tasks. The contractor shall: Provide all technical and all proprietary data to troubleshoot and repair the CPU (PN 5466-409). Provide new CPU 6466-1035. Delivered to the address below (Estimated lead time of 6 weeks). Upgrade to Micro Net Plus on cutter. Provide field report within 5 working days of visits. Delivery. Deliver Parts to: USCGC BERTHOLF ATTN: SFLC LRE AMS 1 Eagle RD Alameda CA 94501 Place of performance- 1St Visit: 5 Calle la Puntilla, San Juan, PR, 00901 2nd Visit: TBD when part is on hand.
