Description
THIS IS A FIRM, FIXED-PRICE SERVICE TYPE CONTRACT. NAVSUP Fleet Logistics Center Puget Sound, in support of Commander, Navy Region Japan, intends to negotiate a sole source requirement with L.N. Curtis and Sons. L.N. Curtis and Sons is the only authorized service provider for Hurst Jaws of Life and Eagle Air original equipment manufacturer (OEM) service and supplies for the annual inspection of powered rescue tools. The anticipated posting date of the solicitation is on or about February 11, 2026, with a closing date on or about February 17, 2026. This requirement will be procured using Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12 and FAR Part 13 procedures. This solicitation and any subsequent amendments will be posted on the System for Award Management (SAM) website at https://sam.gov. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals prior to the offer due date. Responses will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination not to compete this action based upon responses received to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Prospective offerors are responsible for downloading their own copy of the solicitation from the SAM website and for frequently monitoring the site for any amendments. The Government is not responsible for any inability of an offeror to access the posted documents. Prospective offerors are encouraged to register on the SAM website. No telephone or facsimile requests will be accepted, and no hard-copy solicitation or amendment will be mailed or faxed. Offerors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) in order to receive a Government award.
