Description
Title: Sources Sought Notice/Request for Information pertaining to a new procurement to acquire Nationwide Medical Services for U.S. Department of Transportation (USDOT)/Office of the Secretary of Transportation (OST)/Office of Intelligence, Security, and Emergency Response (S-60) DESCRIPTION OF REQUIREMENT The U.S. Department of Transportation (USDOT), Office of the Senior Procurement Executive (OSPE), in support of the Office of Intelligence, Security, and Emergency Response (S-60), is conducting market research to identify qualified contractors to provide occupational medical examination services for applicants and employees assigned to the Protective Service Division (PSD), Occupational Series 1801. This notice is issued solely for informational and planning purposes and does not constitute a solicitation or a request for formal offers. Should USDOT move forward with procurement, a formal Request for Proposal (RFP) or Request for Quotation (RFQ) will be issued at a later date. The purpose of this RFI is to gather preliminary information on the capabilities of vendors able to provide services of this nature and scale across multiple locations nationwide. The NAICS code for this effort is 621111 � Offices of Physicians (except Medical Health). The anticipated period of performance proposed is five (5) years inclusive of a one (1) year base period and four (4) one year option periods to be exercised at the discretion of the United States Federal Government. BUSINESS SIZE PREFERENCE The Office of the Secretary (OST) reserves the right to solicit from any business type based on the results of our market research. RESPONSES TO THIS RFI After reviewing this draft SOW, interested parties shall submit the following in response to this RFI: Company Capability Statement tailored to the requirement (SOW) that demonstrates the ability to successfully accomplish the goals of the project; Clear Identification of Business Size; Estimated cost of services; Three (3) past performance references for work similar in size and scope as described herein; and Questions and comments on the attached DRAFT SOW. FORMAT AND PAGE LIMIT Responses to this RFI shall not exceed 3 pages not including past performances and resumes. Any questions concerning this notice should be directed to the Contracting Officer, Stephen Jones. Any interested company should e-mail their responses to Stephen.Jones@dot.gov by 5PM Eastern Standard Time, April 29, 2026. Please reference �RFI S-60 Medical Services (Physical Exams)� in the subject line when submitting your response.
