Description

This is a combined Synopsis/Solicitation for commercial services in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ); the number is 36C10B26Q0077. The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Office of Acquisition Operations, Technology Acquisition Center (TAC), located at 23 Christopher Way, Eatontown, NJ 07724 intends to award a sole source firm-fixed price (FFP) contract for maintenance services for previously purchased 3D Systems, 3D printers and associated equipment at the Central Virginia Medical Center. Specifically, the Department of Veteran Affairs (VA) Office of Advanced Manufacturing (OAM) requires ProX SLS 6100 - 3D Elite Service Plan from 3D Systems, Inc. (hereafter referred to as 3D Systems), 333 Three D Systems Cir, Roch Hill, SC 29730. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 811210, Electronic and Precision Equipment Repair and Maintenance, with a size standard of $34.0 million.
