Description
The Naval Surface Warfare Center Dahlgren Division intends to negotiate award of a follow-on sole source, Cost Plus Fixed Fee (CPFF), Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) single award contract with the Canadian Commercial Corporation (CCC) on behalf of Lockheed Martin Canada (LMC), to provide VISTA� simulation services in support of the Surface Combat Systems Training Command (SCSTC), Dahlgren, VA. This requirement will be solicited in accordance with the authority of 10 U.S. C 2304 (c) (1) and FAR Part 6.302-1 (a) (2) (iii), Only One Responsible Source. The subject requirement includes the modernization, maintenance and upgrade of computer-based equipment simulations in support of technician training using simulated technical training equipment. The Synthetic Maintenance Trainers (SMTs) are designed with fault scenarios representative of those experienced on the actual equipment. The SMTs are visual and aural characterizations of a device, equipment, subsystem or system presented on a personal computer so that the external behaviors or actions/reactions attributes are representative of the behaviors of the actual device/system.
