Description

The United States Department of the Naval Medical Research Command (NMRC) proposes to enter into a contract with Qiagen, Germantown, MD, on a basis of other than full and open competition. This requirement is for authorized approved vendors to perform services for brand name equipment. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals however If interested, the Government shall consider capability statements. NMRC's Molecular Department of the Biological Defense Research Directorate is in need of multiple Qiagen Reagent kits and components which are essential for the surveillance efforts detection and identification of biological warfare agents and emerging pathogens. Specifically, the following kits are needed: (1) Reagent Trough (with Lid), 70 mL (10) [Catalog# 990554] - QTY: 10/EA.; (2) QIAcuity Nanoplate 8.5k 24-well (10) [Catalog# 250011] - QTY: 1/EA.; (3) QIAcube HT Plasticware [Catalog# 950067] - QTY: 2/EA.; (4) QIAcuity Nanoplate 26k 24-well (10) [Catalog# 250001] - QTY: 1/EA.; (5) QIAcuity Probe PCR Kit (5mL) [Catalog# 250102] - QTY: 1/EA.; (6) QIAamp Viral RNA Mini Kit (250) [Catalog# 52906] - QTY: 14/EA; (7) QIAcuity OneStepAdvanced Probe Kit (5mL) [Catalog# 250132] - QTY: 1/EA; (8) QIAamp 96 Viral RNA Kit (10) [Catalog# 52962] - QTY: 1/EA; and (9) Freight Charges - QTY: 1/EA. The NAICS code for this action is 334516. This requirement will be procured under the guidelines of FAR Part 12 Commercial Items. NMRC requires that all contractors doing business with the Acquisition Office must be registered with the Systems for Award Management (SAM). No award can be made unless the vendor is registered in Systems for Award Management. For additional information and to register in SAM, please access the following website: https://www.sam.gov/.
