Description
SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE Requirement: Rubberized Roof Sealant Removal and Replacement of Building 3574 Agency: U.S. Army Garrison Devens Reserve Forces Training Area (RFTA) NAICS/PSC: 238160 / Z2AZ Award Form: SF 1442 incorporating FAR Part 12 commercial procedures. Evaluation Method: Lowest Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA). Bond Requirements: Not required. Synopsis: This is a Sources Sought notice for market research purposes only. This is NOT a solicitation for proposals, proposal abstracts, or requests for quotations. This notice is to identify sources capable of providing the services outlined below. The Government will not pay for information submitted. Based on the responses, this requirement may be set-aside for small businesses or procured through full and open competition. The anticipated procurement is a Firm-Fixed-Price (FFP) contract under the Simplified Acquisition Threshold (SAT). Description: The U.S. Army Garrison Devens RFTA has a requirement for the removal and replacement of rubberized roof sealant on Building 3574. The work consists of furnishing all plant, labor, supervision, materials, equipment, tools, and transportation necessary to complete the project at the Devens Reserve Forces Training Area, Devens, MA. The scope of work includes, but is not limited to: Removal and disposal of existing, failed rubberized sealant from the under-eave roof perimeter of Building 3574. Preparation of the surface area for new sealant application. Installation of new rubberized roof sealant on an approximate external surface area of 270 to 300 square feet. Daily cleanup and disposal of all project-related debris, rubbish, and materials from the Government property in accordance with all federal, state, and local regulations. Ensuring all work is performed in compliance with USACE Safety and Health Requirements Manual (EM 385-1-1). A site visit is strongly recommended. Rental of a scissor lift is anticipated to be necessary to reach the required height. Place of Performance: Building 3574 TASC Devens RFTA, Main Cantonment Area Devens, MA 01434 NAICS Code and Small Business Size Standard: The primary NAICS code for this requirement is 238160 - Roofing Contractors, with a corresponding small business size standard of $19 million. The Government is also seeking capability information from businesses under other relevant NAICS codes. Submittal Requirements: Interested parties should submit a capabilities statement (not to exceed 5 pages) that demonstrates their ability to perform the services described. The statement should also include: Company Name and Address Point of Contact (Name, Phone, Email) CAGE Code & Unique Entity ID (SAM.gov) Socio-Economic Size Status (e.g., Small Business, 8(a), HUBZone, WOSB, SDVOSB). Submission Instructions: Please submit responses electronically in Microsoft Word or Adobe PDF format. Information submitted will not be returned. DO NOT SUBMIT CLASSIFIED MATERIAL.
