CNC HAAS UMC-750SS 5 Axis Vertical Milling Machine and CNC 3-Axis Vertical Machining

THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS/QUOTES The 97th Maintenance Group at Altus Air Force Base, Oklahoma requires one (qty 1) 5-Axis Vertical Machining Center; 30" x 20" x 20" with integrated 2-axis trunnion rotary table and (qt 1) Super Speed Vertical Machining Center; X 50" x Y 20" x Z 25", as specified in (DAFI) 63-140 and air force materiel command (AFMC) supplement dafi63-140_afmcsup. The 97th Contracting Squadron intends to make award to PHILLIPS CORP. FEDERAL DIVISION (CAGE: 3MPQ0), due to this being the only source capable of providing a DAFI compliant machine. The proposed contract action is for supplies for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with a single source under the authority of RFO 5.103. This notice of intent is NOT a request for competitive proposals and no solicitation document exists for the requirement. Sources interested in responding to this notice are required to submit a capability statement that includes technical data and cost information, sufficient detail and with convincing evidence that clearly demonstrates the capability to meet the requirement. Requests for documentation, additional information, or submissions that only ask questions will not be considered as an affirmative response. A determination by the Government not to compete based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement or to proceed with a single source procurement. Capability statements are due by 22 JUNE at 9:00 AM CST. Capability statements shall be submitted by email ONLY as a Microsoft Word or Adobe PDF attachment to lauren.coleman.4@us.af.mil andlori.clinton@us.af.mil. Capability statements and supporting documentation provided after the due date listed above will not be reviewed. Please see attached Single Source Justification for further information. Funding Availability Notice "Notice to Offeror(s)/Supplier(s): Funds are not presently available for this effort. No award will be made under this solicitation until funds are available. The Government reserves the right to cancel this solicitation, either before or after the closing date. In the event the Government cancels this solicitation, the Government has no obligation to reimburse an offeror for any costs.��
