Description
The Department of Justice (DOJ) is soliciting responses from qualified vendors to operate an on-site food service facility under the contractors business name. The selected contractor will be responsible for the full operation of the cafeteria, including the sale of food, non-alcoholic beverages, and other items authorized by the Government. The contractor will retain all sales revenue generated from cafeteria operations. Revenue is intended to cover operating costs and provide the potential for profit. To support continuity of service, the Government will provide a stipend of up to $2,000 per month to offset potential operational losses. This requirement is being solicited as a Request for Statements of Qualifications (RSQ) and is not a priced procurement. Pricing will not be evaluated as a separate proposal volume. Offerors shall address their approach to achieving financial viability and profitability as part of the technical submission. Additional details, submission requirements, and evaluation criteria are provided in the attached documents. Amendment 1 Nearly everything, besides the basic requirement, has changed. Please review or rereview all the documents. All attachments have been updated and Evaluation Criteria has been added. This has changed from a Request for Quotes to a Request for Statement of Qualifications. The site visit has been scheduled for February 3rd. Amendment 2 - The only changes on this amendmnet is to extend the date we will be accepting questions untill Feburary 6th at 5pm and to add a second site visit, for those who missed the first, on Feburary 5th at 3:00pm . Those are the only changes, the RQS has been updated to reflect this.
