Description
Synopsis for Solicitation number N0018926Q0004 (Firefighting Equipment Inspection) The NAVSUP Fleet Logistics Center (FLC) Norfolk, Contracting Department, Norfolk, VA 23511-3392 intends to award a firm fixed-price contract for a firefighting equipment inspection service. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial products or commercial services prepared in accordance with the format in subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested, and a written solicitation will not be issued. The requirement covers the performance requirements for fire suppression systems, equipment and updates for 4 vessels: TSV-1 Prevail, TSV-3 Hunter, TSV-4 Narragansett, and TSV-5 Vindicator. This requirement will be awarded on a sole source basis to Hiller Fire Protection The requirement will be solicited on 21 November 2025. The service that will be procured consists of the following: Provide condition reports of as to the functionality of all equipment, stating whether each item is within required operable specifications. Provide separate recommendations on equipment/material replacement, to include specific reason for replacement and Quote with part number(s), quantities and pricing. Attend vessel(s) located at Little Creek Navy Base to inspect, test and certify the fixed co2 system, portable fire Extinguishers, Scott SCBA cylinders, packs, and fire hoses. This quote does not include any repairs, Hydro Testing or 6-year maintenance of cylinders. All discrepancies will be written up. Any potential contractor capable of demonstrating that it is qualified to perform the work to the required standards and that wishes to make a competitive quote for the contract should submit a capability statement in beta.SAM.gov. Through its submission, the vendor acknowledges the requirement that a prospective awardee must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database prior to award, during performance, and through final payment of any contract resulting from this solicitation, except for award to foreign vendors for work to be performed outside the United States. Lack of registration in the SAM database will make a vendor ineligible for award. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is: 561990- All other support services. The product service code (PSC) is H312- Inspection- fire control equipment.
