Description

The Transportation Security Administration (TSA), Requirements, Capabilities, and Analysis (RCA), Chemistry & Explosives Branch (CEB) has a requirement to procure an Agilent Crosslab Silver preventative maintenance agreement for the Agilent Gas Chromatography Mass Spectrometer (GC/MS) Triple Quad System. This is a necessary requirement to ensure proper operations of the CEB analytical lab equipment which is used for mission critical research and analysis of CETA (Canine Explosive Training Aid) which are utilized by participants of the TSA National Explosives Detection Canine Team Program (NEDCTP). The contractor will provide support through the Agilent CrossLab Silver preventative maintenance agreement for the Agilent Gas Chromatography Mass Spectrometer (GC/MS) Triple Quad System, which is critical for the (CETA) program. Ensuring the proper operation of the CEBs analytical lab equipment is essential to support both new and ongoing operations that contribute to the mission-critical research and analysis of CETA. These aids are used in the NEDCTP. The Agilent instrumentation has been installed and previously serviced by Agilent-certified technicians according to the manufacturers specifications. Any deviation from using certified Agilent technicians could compromise the sensitivity and performance of the equipment, potentia lly hindering the CEBs a bility to meet mission requirements a nd timelines effectively.
