Description
This procurement is for the Community-Based Outpatient Clinic (CBOC) services in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 13.5 Simplified Procedures for Certain Commercial Items and specifically FAR 13.501 Special Documentation Requirements, where acquisitions conducted under Simplified Acquisition Procedures are exempt from the requirements of FAR Part 6, but still require a justification using the format of FAR 6.303-2. A sole source bridge contract is required to provide continued healthcare services for Veterans in Alamogordo, New Mexico (NM). This requirement ensures continuity of critical healthcare services while the long-term contract is expected to be awarded by December 1, 2025. This action will be awarded as a new contract and the requirement type will be fixed-price (FP), indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity (IDIQ) contract.
