Description
This Sources Sought notice replaces Notice SPE30026R0032, which was canceled due to an administrative numbering correction. No changes have been made to the requirement. All responses previously submitted under the canceled notice remain valid and will be considered. Vendors do not need to resubmit unless they wish to update or supplement their original response. Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) Troop Support, Strategic Material Sourcing Group (SMSG) is conducting market research for the acquisition of Beverage Base (Bag-In-Box) Carbonated, Non-Carbonated, Electrolyte and Juice Drinks containing </= 20% Juice) for delivery to DOD and non-DOD customers and Navy/Coast Guard Ships in the Continental United States (CONUS), Hawaii, Alaska, and Guam. The purpose of this Market Research is to seek potential sources interested in participating in this acquisition. The NAICS Codes associated with this notice is 312111. In addition to Bag-In-Box (BIB) products, successful offeror(s) shall supply the necessary dispensing equipment, Carbon Dioxide (20 lbs. CO2) and Service to the dispensing equipment to all customers. The delivery locations require indefinite quantities of Beverage Base for delivery. The contract period will be for Twelve(12) months or Nine Million dollars ($9,000,000.00) whichever comes first. The successful offeror(s) shall develop a central email Point of Contact (POC) that will receive all orders and coordinate deliveries to our customers with the respective bottlers. It shall be incumbent upon the successful offeror(s) to ensure that an agreement is in place between the successful offeror(s) and the bottlers (both successful offeror(s) owned and independently owned) to ensure that all customers are supported. Independently owned bottlers shall be considered subcontractors to the successful offeror(s). Please note that a subcontracting plan in accordance with FAR 52.219-9 may be required dependent on the offerors� business size. If interested, see ATTACHMENT 1- Schedule of Items. In lieu of specific beverage products, the schedule of items includes categories of items (Carbonated and Non-Carbonated) annotated with flavors commonly available commercially. Offerors will specify their specific flavors/products for each category. The precise schedule or list of items will be determined according to the specific flavors/products proposed by the offeror and awarded by the Government.
