TANK, M1 ABRAMS FAMILY OF VEHICLES (FOV). The Elevation Drive Assembly consists of a motor brake assembly, planetary reduction unit, manual drive, output pinion, and anti-backlash drive mount mechanism. The assembly elevates or depresses the weapon of the Stabilized Commander Weapon Station (SCWS) in either powered or manual mode. The Elevation Drive controls the elevation/depression of the Commanders machine gun in the SCWS for M1A1 tanks. The Government does not have drawings for this item that are suitable for competitive procurement. The TDP is fully defined, but the government does not have full data rights.
