Description
Answers to Vendor Questions Please note answers to other questions submitted can be found in the solicitation Square Footage and Surface Area Clarification: The PWS identifies three distinct rooms for cleaning (E124, E123, and E125) but lists a total of approximately 320.4 square feet based on a single set of dimensions. Could the Government clarify if the 320.4 sq. ft. represents the total floor space for all three rooms combined, or if this is the total scrubbable surface area (including walls and ceilings) for the entire suite? A: This is the square footage of the floor of the suite, not total scrubbable surface area. Pricing for Emergent and Additional Cleanings: The solicitation requires availability for "emergent, off-schedule cleanings" and mentions potential "additional cleaning" based on Environmental Monitoring results. However, the pricing schedule only provides Line Items (CLINs) for twelve (12) monthly cleanings per year. Should Offerors include a "per-event" rate for emergent cleanings within the price proposal, or will these be handled via separate task orders? A: Yes, a per-event rate can be indicated on the quote. Government-Furnished Utilities: The PWS requires chemicals to be mixed fresh on-site and recommends the use of distilled water. Will the Government provide access to distilled water and a localized mixing area within the facility, or is the Contractor required to transport distilled water to the site for each cleaning? A: They can be mixed within the cleanroom suite. Vendor provides distilled water. Security Clearance Transition: The PWS indicates a 45-day average turnaround for NACI investigations and requires personnel to receive favorable adjudication prior to performance. Given the specialized nature of USP 797/800 cleaning, will the Government provide a transition period or allow for temporary escorted access to ensure service continuity while background checks are being processed? A: You can be escorted from the pharmacy entrance, you will be required to sign in. Site Visit Availability: To ensure an accurate assessment of the "Triple top-down" requirements specifically regarding moving equipment like refrigerators and cleaning behind PEC isolators will the Government be conducting a formal site visit prior to the May 7th submission deadline? A: No formal site visit is scheduled. Are there any changes in the previous scope to new one? A: No changes in scope. Are there any post-award submittals that we should be aware of? If so, could you please provide the relevant information? SDS sheets for all chemicals, Personnel security materials (fingerprints, e-QIP), Documentation of personnel competency for USP 797/800, Quality Control & Assurance Program Number of custodians required? A: Determined by vendor
