Description

The NAVSUP Fleet Logistics Center (FLC) Norfolk, Contracting Department, Regional Directorate intends to solicit Shell Packaging Corporation (dba Flexcon Containers) through a Justification Sole Source (JSS) in an other than full and open competitive basis using FAR Part 13 procedures for the procurement of Flexcon dividers at NAVSUP Weapon Systems Support (NAVSUP WSS). Due to this requirement being under national security interests, no posting of the Request for Quote, JSS or Award Notice will be published. A firm fixed price (FFP) contract is anticipated. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to this requirement. Information received as a result of this notice of intent will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed procurement action based on the responses received is solely within the discretion of the Government. The Government will not pay for any information submitted in response to this notice. The applicable NAICS and size standard are 326199 and 750 respectively.
