Codes for services or supplies: NAICS Code: 238220 - Plumbing, Heating, and Air-Conditioning Contractors NAICS Size Standard: $19.0 Million PSC Code: J045 Maintenance, Repair, and Rebuilding Equipment Description: Introduction: Hudson Valley Health Care System has a requirement for Summer Maintenance of High-Pressure Boilers and Boiler Plant. The central boiler plant provides steam for heating, air conditioning, domestic hot water, kitchens, sterilization and laundry services. Boiler Plant safety, reliability, efficiency and equipment longevity are paramount concerns of Hudson Valley management. Regular cleaning is an essential part of a program to address these concerns. This statement of work describes the requirements for opening (for inspection by others), cleaning and closing of water tube boilers, fire tube boilers, condensate tanks and deaeration tanks by qualified technicians. Scope of Work: The contractor shall furnish the labor, material and equipment to perform the following work on the boilers and pressure vessels/tanks at VA Hudson Valley HCS listed herein including but not limited to all necessary factory gaskets, closing materials, providing documentation to VA Hudson Valley HCS of proper disposal at a Department of Environmental Protection approved landfill. Place of Performance: FDR-Montrose Campus 2094 Albany Post Road Montrose, New York 10548; Building 20 Boiler Plant Castle Point Campus 41 Castle Point Road Wappinger Falls, New York 12590; Building 35 Boiler Plant Period of Performance: Estimated Award Date 6/1/2026. One 12-month base year, with the provision for 4 option years; and a 6-month extension period. Service to be performed in the month of JULY. Additional Information: The RFQ is planned to be issued on or about April 17, 2026. The offer due date is tentatively planned for May 01, 2026. The anticipated award date is May 01, 2026. The resulting contract is planned to be a Single Award, Firm-Fixed-Price contract. This will be a Best Value procurement.
