The Defense Health Agency (DHA) has a requirement for a subscription to a Remote Authentication Platform which is a web-based authentication and electronic access management system. The Remote Authentication Platform shall provide access to the Department of Defense and DHA?s Virtual Medical Library (VML)online content via a Single Sign On technology both on and off the physical campus. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation is being issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ). This acquisition is not set-aside for small businesses. The North American Industry Size Classification System (NAICS) code associated with this requirement is 519290. The Remote Authentication Platform should act as a gateway service to facilitate access to publishers? content anywhere internet access is available.
