Description
On April 28, 2026, the National Park Service (Service) issued a prospectus soliciting proposals to award a new ten (10) year concession contract to provide lodging, food and beverage, retail, campground (group site), firewood, and other services at Kalaloch within Olympic National Park. Site Visit The Service will host a one-day site visit for entities interested in bidding on this opportunity on May 21, 2026. The site visit provides an opportunity to tour the Concession Facilities (term defined in the Draft Contract). Advance registration is required to attend the site visit. To register, email Kimberley Gagliolo, Commercial Services Specialist, at [email protected], no later than noon (Pacific Time) on May 19, 2026. You must provide the following information when registering: Primary contact name and email Name of the entity being represented Names of all attendees Due to space constraints, the Service limits the total number of attendees per represented entity to five (5) individuals. Site visit attendees are responsible for obtaining their lodging, meals, and transportation to the Concession Facilities. Attendance at the site visit is encouraged but not required. Site visit attendees are asked not to interfere with the concession operations and not to film, record, or photograph concession employees. Questions Due If you do not understand something in the prospectus, you must submit your questions, in writing, to Kimberley Gagliolo, Commercial Services Specialist (email above), no later than noon (Pacific Time) on May 28, 2026. The Service will not answer specific questions about this prospectus during the site visit. Questions submitted must be in a format that allows the Service to copy them to Microsoft Word. Notice of Intent to Propose Any interested entity planning on submitting a proposal in response to this solicitation must notify Kimberley Gagliolo, Commercial Services Specialist, at the email listed above noon (Pacific Time) on July 8, 2026. What to include in the Notice of Intent to Propose is described in the Business Opportunity and Proposal Instructions. The Service will not accept proposals from entities that do not submit the notice on or before that date. Submission of Electronic Proposal The Service is only accepting electronic proposals in response to this prospectus. To be evaluated and considered for award of the new concession contract, your electronic proposal must be received no later than noon (Pacific Time) on August 5, 2026. Those entities that submitted a timely submitted notice will receive an email with an invitation to the Service�s Microsoft Teams platform, additional information regarding this process is provided in the Proposal Instructions. The Service will not accept proposals submitted in hardcopy or via any other electronic platform, including email.
