Description

This is a Sources Sought Notice. This is NOT a request for proposal and in no way obligates the Government to award any contract or Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA). The United States Coast Guard (USCG) Yard is conducting Market Research to identify qualified, commercially available sources to provide Ultrasonic Side Scan Testing Services for upcoming vessels scheduled for the U.S. Coast Guard Yard availability. The work consist of providing all personnel, equipment, supplies, facilities, transportation, tools, materials, supervision, planning, and other items necessary to perform Ultrasonic Side Scan Testing services as defined in the attached Draft Statement of Work (SOW), except for those items specified as Government furnished property and services. This is a non-personal services requirement to provide Ultrasonic Side Scan Testing at the U.S. Coast Guard Shipyard, 2401 Hawkins Point Road, Baltimore, MD. Performance shall take place on vessels in dry-dock. *Please reply with your capabilities and your company�s information as requested below: Reponses must include a business point of contact, phone number, email address, Unique Entity Identifier (UEI) Code. The applicable North American Industry Classification Standard Code (NAICS) is 541330 (exception 3) Marine Engineering and Naval Architecture Services The small business size standard is $47.0 million in average annual receipts. Responses to this Sources Sought Notice should also state whether the business is currently classified as Large, Small, Small Disadvantaged, 8(a), HubZone Small Business, Women Owned, Veteran Owned, Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business concern under NAICS 541330 (exception 3). This Sources Sought Notice does not constitute a Request For Proposal and is not to be construed as a request for an offer. Therefore, there will be no evaluation of responses to this Notice for contract award purposes. Reimbursement will not be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this announcement and any follow-up information requests.
