Sources Sought Notice For Market Research Only 1. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR QUOTE (RFQ) OR PROPOSAL. 2. Synopsis / Description The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Canandaigua VA Medical Center, is seeking information from Small Businesses, including SDVOSB, VOSB, WOSB, HUBZone, and 8(a) firms capable of providing all labor, materials, supervision, and equipment necessary to replace Trane Chiller Pump #2 and the associated heater located in Building 36. The equipment involved is associated with a Trane chiller, serial number U16F55644. This notice is strictly for market research to determine appropriate set-aside categories and procurement strategy. 3. Place of Performance Canandaigua VA Medical Center Building 36 400 Fort Hill Avenue Canandaigua, NY 14424 4. Scope of Work (Summary) The contractor shall provide management, supervision, labor, parts, materials, tools, and transportation to perform: Removal and replacement of Trane Chiller Pump #2 Replacement of associated heater All work must comply with VA safety and facility procedures. 5. Period of Performance Work must be completed within 30 days of contract award, or sooner depending on material availability and shipping. Work Hours: 8:00 AM 4:30 PM, Monday Friday, excluding Federal Holidays. Federal holidays observed: New Year s Day, Martin Luther King Jr. Day, Washington s Birthday, Memorial Day, Juneteenth, Independence Day, Labor Day, Columbus Day, Veterans Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day. 6. Contractor Qualifications All technicians must have a minimum of 5 years of experience in the mechanical field. All certificates, permits, and licenses must be current and valid. 8. NAICS & PSC Code 238220 Plumbing, Heating, and Air Conditioning Contractors Size Standard: $19M J045 Maint/Repair/Rebuild Of Equipment- Plumbing, Heating, And Waste Disposal Equipment 9. Requested Information from Interested Businesses Submit a Capability Statement including: Business name, address, POC, phone, and email UEI number Business size & socioeconomic category Detailed capability narrative addressing: Experience with chiller systems, pumps, and Trane equipment Relevant mechanical/HVAC past performance Technician qualifications Bonding capability (if applicable) 10.
