Description
NOTICE FOR TUBE-LAUNCHED OPTICALLY TRACKED WIRELESS-GUIDED (TOW) IMPROVED TARGET ACQUISTION SYSTEM (ITAS) MODIFIED ITAS (MITAS), CONTRACT LOGISTICS SUPPORT (CLS) This is a synopsis in accordance with FAR 5.101 for the following contract. This synopsis is not a request for proposal or information, and a solicitation will not be issued for this requirement. The U.S. Army Contracting Command-Redstone has a Calendar Year (CY) 2028 - 2030 requirement for the acquisition of Contractor Logistics Support (CLS) for the Tube-launched Optically-tracked Wireless-guided (TOW) Improved Target Acquisition System (ITAS) Modified ITAS (MITAS) in support of the Department of the Army, United States Marine Corps, and forecasted Foreign Military Sales. Additionally, this requirement will provide incidental material, maintenance, information management actions necessary to support the TOW ITAS unique assemblies/subassemblies, Field Service Representative (FSR) support and Logistics Support. This requirement will result in the award of a twelve (12) month base award with two (2) twelve (12)-month option periods. This requirement is restricted to Raytheon Company, 2501 W University Dr, McKinney, TX 75071-2813. Interested sources should contact the prime contractor directly. THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL. This contract is being pursued on a sole source basis under the statutory authority of Title 10, U.S.C. Section 2304(c)(1), as implemented by Federal Acquisition Regulation 6.302-1, "Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy the agency requirements." A determination not to compete this effort is solely within the discretion of the Government.
