Description
Please note that this solicitation is not ready to be issued as of this date. The Embassy of the United States of America in Lisbon, Portugal, will launch the solicitation on www.sam.gov website when it becomes available. The Embassy of the United States of America in Lisbon intends to issue a Request for Quotation for a project that involves the refurbishment of the master bathroom in the Chief of Mission�s Residence (CMR). The Government intends to award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the lowest priced technically acceptable /best value offeror who is a responsible contractor. The Government may award the contract based on the initial offer without discussion. The resultant contract will be a firm fixed price type contract. The Government is planning a pre-quotation conference, and the date will be in the solicitation. Please be advised that firms doing business with the United States Government need to be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) www.sam.gov before the purchasing contract is awarded or within 30 days after contract award, or at least three days before submitting the first invoice, whichever occurs first. If you require any additional information, please contact the U. S Embassy Procurement Section. The following provisions and clause are included in reference to recent FAR 4.203 SAM changes: FAR 52.204-7 paragraph (c)(1) - Offeror Identification FAR clause 52.204-91, Contractor Identification.
