Description
This market research notice is being conducted by Network Contracting Office (NCO) 17, VHA Regional Procurement Office West (RPOW), 5441 Babcock Road, Medical Center, San Antonio, TX 78240. The Government intends to issue a sole source award to Transonic Systems, Inc., 34 Dutch Mill Rd., Ithaca, NY 14850, for the Transonic HD03 system. Background and Requirement: The Dallas VA Health Care System requires the Transonic HD03 system, including the HD03 Monitor, H4FX sensor, and Patient Measurement Module without Patient ID Input, to support health care operations within Patient Care Services. The proposed equipment must include a minimum one year full service warranty. All equipment must pass acceptance testing prior to final acceptance. The Transonic HD03 monitor is a standalone, portable device designed for quantitative hemodialysis surveillance in dialysis clinics. It uses ultrasound dilution technology to measure key hemodynamic parameters during hemodialysis, helping clinicians optimize treatment and detect early signs of access dysfunction. Specific Instrument Required: Provide the HD03 system to the Dallas VA Health Care System. If your business can provide this item, please respond to this Sources Sought Notice by 10:00 AM Central Time on Friday, 15 May 2026. The intent of this notice is to establish sources to define the procurement strategy (e.g., set aside, sole source, unrestricted). Interested contractors are requested to respond with the following information: a. Identify the item s place of manufacture. The VA is particularly interested in products manufactured in the United States. b. If you have an existing GSA or VA Federal Supply Schedule contract, include contract details. c. The VA seeks to identify Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSBs), Veteran Owned Small Businesses (VOSBs), or other small business manufacturers or authorized distributors able to provide this item. d. Distributors must provide proof of authorized distributor status. Gray market items are not accepted. e. Vendors are encouraged to submit estimated market research pricing.
