Description
A requirement request for the procurement and delivery of one (1) commercial-grade, 2-Head Embroidery Machine. This equipment will be used to support NTC Sewing Shop to have military nameplates, unit nameplates, unit patches, and other necessary patches sewn on to the service members (SM) ODU uniforms. To be considered for award, the proposed equipment must meet or exceed the salient characteristics outlined in the attached documentation. High-Level Requirements Summary: Configuration: 2 sewing heads with 15 needles per head. Construction: Heavy-duty steel frame weighing approximately 1168 lbs. Performance: Maximum sewing speed of 1,100 stitches per minute (flats) and 1,000 SPM (caps) with a positive needle drive for thick materials. Embroidery Area: Minimum of 450mm x 520mm. Interface: Minimum 10.4" LCD Touch Screen display with LAN and USB connectivity. Key Capabilities: Must include a quick-change cap system, laser pointer for tracing, automatic hoop centering, and specific capability for military nametape creation.
