Sources Sought Notice Indian Small Business Economic Enterprise (ISBEE) Set Aside HVAC Replacement - Colorado River Detention Facility This is a Sources Sought Notice issued in accordance with FAR 5.205 and the Buy Indian Act. The purpose of this notice is to identify Indian Small Business Economic Enterprises (ISBEEs) capable of performing the requirements described herein. This notice is not a solicitation and does not constitute a commitment by the Government to issue a solicitation or award a contract. 1. Project Title HVAC Unit Replacement - Colorado River Detention Facility 2. Project Description The Bureau of Indian Affairs is conducting market research to identify qualified ISBEE vendors capable of providing all labor, materials, equipment, and services necessary to replace the facility's existing HVAC unit. The anticipated scope includes, but is not limited to, the following: - Removal and proper disposal of the existing fresh air/HVAC unit in accordance with all applicable codes and facility requirements. - Furnishing and installing a new HVAC unit, including all required components and connections. - Fabrication and installation of duct transitions as required for the new equipment. - Installation of a new equipment stand suitable for the updated unit. - Installation of roof-mounted return air ducting as necessary. - Provision of crane services to support removal and placement of equipment. - All associated electrical, mechanical, and structural work required for a fully functional and compliant installation. - Coordination with facility personnel to ensure safe and uninterrupted operations during construction activities. All work must meet or exceed current industry standards, manufacturer requirements, and all applicable local, state, federal, and tribal regulations. 3. ISBEE Qualification Requirement To be considered under the ISBEE set aside, interested firms must: - Qualify as an Indian Economic Enterprise (IEE/ISBEE) in accordance with 25 U.S.C. � 47 (Buy Indian Act) and 48 CFR 1480.201. - Provide IEE representation form (attached) demonstrating eligibility. 4. Requested Information from Interested ISBEE Vendors Businesses that believe they are capable of meeting this requirement shall submit the following information: 1. Business Name, Address, UEI, and Point of Contact 2. Verification of ISBEE Eligibility 3. Capability Statement relevant to HVAC replacement and mechanical construction projects 4. Past Performance on similar projects (government or commercial) 5.
