Description

This is an Announcement for Optometry Lane Maintenance at VA Southern Nevada Healthcare System Period of Performance: 08/18/2026-08/17/2031 This is a SOURCES SOUGHT ANNOUNCEMENT ONLY. The purpose of this Sources Sought announcement is for market research to make appropriate acquisition decisions. It is neither a solicitation announcement nor a request for proposals or quotes. The Government is not obligated to, nor will it pay for or reimburse any costs associated with responding to this sources sought synopsis request. This requirement is for a non-Personal Services Contract to provide preventative maintenance, minor repair, cleaning and calibration of all equipment required to keep the 17 optometry lanes operational at VA Southern Nevada Health Care System (VASNHCS) in North Las Vegas, Nevada. Contractor shall provide all labor, equipment, material, tools, travel and overhead necessary to perform this service at the VASNHCS., Southeast Primary Care Clinic, and Southwest Primary Care Clinic. The proposal will include 2 trips per service contract year. Half of the exam rooms will be serviced each visit, and any other priority repair/maintenance items accomplished. Please see the attached Statement of Work (SOW) for all additional requirement information regarding this requisition. The NAICS and Product Service Codes for this requisition are as follows: NAICS code 339115, Ophthalmic Goods Manufacturing has been verified as the correct NAICS code for the requirement, verified through the BLS website at https://www.bls.gov/cew/classifications/industry/industry-titles.htm The correct Product and Service Code (PSC) for the requirement is J065, Maintenance, Repair, and Rebuilding of Equipment- Medical, Dental, and Veterinary Equipment and Supplies is verified in the April 2025 PSC Manual. The Period of Performance dates are as follows: Base Year: August 18, 2026 August 17, 2027 Option Year 1: August 18, 2027 August 17, 2028 Option Year 2: August 18, 2028 August 17, 2029 Option Year 3: August 18, 2029 August 17, 2030 Option Year 4: August 18, 2030 August 17, 2031 Basic Requirement Information. Interested vendors are asked to review the draft SOW and provide the following information in their response: 1. Company Name, Point Contact, Email address 2. An Informal Quote 3. Authorized Distributor Letter (if applicable) 4. Capabilities Statement /Narrative 5. NAICS code and size standard 6. UEI Number 7. Vendor POC information 8.
