The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) Baltimore District is planning the re-procurement of an indefinite-delivery indefinite-quantity (IDIQ) single-award delivery-order contract for ALUM (ALUMINUM SULFATE) and POLYALUMINUM CHLORIDE (POLYALUMINUM HYDROXYCHLOROSULFATE) for the Washington Aqueduct Division (WAD) in Washington, D.C. Attached is a draft statement of work (SOW).The Washington Aqueduct supplies potable water to approximately one million people in the District of Columbia and Northern Virginia. As part of the water treatment and supply system, the Washington Aqueduct maintains and operates the Dalecarlia and McMillan Water Treatment Plants (WTPs), both of which utilize the subject chemicals in their operations.
