Description

The Office of Technology and Manufacturing Industrial Base has policy and oversight responsibility to ensure that the linkage between "industrial policy" and "manufacturing" is firmly established and effectively coordinated. The DoD Manufacturing Technology Program (ManTech) seeks to ensure robust, secure, resilient, and innovative manufacturing industrial capabilities upon which the Department of Defense (DoD) can rely to fulfill Warfighter requirements. The technology and program support are intended to support the Defense-wide Manufacturing Technology Program in its mission to identify and close gaps in manufacturing capabilities to ensure affordable, timely, and low-risk development, production, and sustainment of defense systems.
