Description
This is a SOURCES SOUGHT notice; a market survey for information only, to be used for preliminary planning purposes. This is NOT a request for quotes or proposals. The intent of this notice is to identify qualified, experienced, and interested offerors capable of performing the type of work as described herein for information and planning purposes. The information received will be utilized by the United States Air Force to facilitate the planning and decision-making process and will not be disclosed outside of the agency. No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this announcement or any follow-up information requests. Respondents will NOT be notified of the results of this sources sought. Respondents are not required to submit information in response to this announcement to participate in any future solicitation that may come as a result of the information received. In accordance with Revolutionary Federal Acquisition Regulation Overhaul (RFO) 15.101(c)(2), responses to this notice are not offers and cannot be accepted by the Government to form a binding contract. The 55th Contracting Squadron, Offutt Air Force Base, NE, is seeking information for the following items listed below: General: The purpose of this sources sought is to conduct Market Research in accordance with RFO Part 10, for the construction of an addition to the south parking lot of Building B1000 at Offutt AFB, Nebraska. This requirement includes comprehensive site preparation and paving operations. Work consists of demolition and removal of existing surfaces, clearing and grubbing, and earthwork/subgrade preparation. The new pavement construction includes the application of bituminous tack and prime coats followed by road-mix asphalt paving. Additionally, the project requires cast-in-place concrete construction for associated concrete curbs, gutters, and sidewalks. This project also includes the installation of a new stormwater utility system, encompassing reinforced concrete storm drain pipes, precast manholes, and curb inlets, complete with post-installation CCTV inspection of the sewer lines. Furthermore, the contractor will be responsible for applying road and parking lot pavement markings (including surface preparation and reflective paint application), coordinating with the Omaha Public Power District (OPPD) for the installation of new parking lot light poles and bases, and performing final site restoration including topsoil placement and seeding. All project work and related services shall be performed IAW all terms, conditions, special contract requirements, specifications, drawings, attachments, technical exhibits and references and publications contained in the contract or incorporated by reference. All information is voluntary. The capabilities package should be complete and sufficiently detailed enough to allow the Government to determine the firm�s qualifications to perform the defined work.
