Description

PRESOLICITATION NOTICE Project # 659-22-405 Install Campus Generator Department of Veterans Affairs has an inherent need for emergency backup power. Currently, the backup power is being provided by small temporary backups in multiple buildings along with an outdated generator that has outlived its life expectancy.� The VAMC is pursuing a project to install an emergency generator station. The Period of Performance is 420 calendar days and includes a 1-year warranty on all items. The vendor has responsibility for Duty to Report any fraud, waste and abuse witnessed while on VA premises to the Integrity and Compliance Officer. Estimated construction magnitude is between $10,000,000 and $20,000,000. NAICS CODE: 236220 Size Standard: $45 Million This solicitation is anticipated to be a Total Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business Set-Aside. Solicitation material will be available on/about March 4, 2026. Any specifications, drawings and amendments will be posted on this web site. Bids will be due approximately 36 days after issuance of the solicitation. Location and points of contact for site visits will be identified in the solicitation. This notice is for informational purposes only and is not a request for bids. The Government is not obligated to issue a solicitation as a result of this notice. No other information is available until issuance of the solicitation. No bidders list is maintained. All interested vendors should register on this website. It is the bidders responsibility to check the web site periodically for any amendments/notices to the solicitation. Prospective contractors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database and be registered as a SDVOSB with the SBA VetCert in order to be eligible for contract award.
