Description
Pre-Solicitation Notice FSC: H259 NAICS: 541350 Description of the service: This is a non-personal service(s) contract to perform inspections and grounding tests for the electrical distribution systems in accordance with Italian DPR (Decree of the President of the Republic) n. 462/2001 at USAG Italy DMC. The Contractor shall provide all necessary tools and equipment to perform services under this contract. The Contractor shall be an organization certified by �Ministero delle imprese e del made in Italy� to perform periodical check on the Electrical systems, as per Italian Law DPR 462/01. The contractor shall be registered on the official website of the �Ministero Delle Imprese e del made in Italy. The Contractor shall verify, identify and certify the safety level of the electrical and grounding systems, based on requirements detailed by Italian Norms CEI EN 6193-6, CEI EN 50522, CEI 0-14, DPR n.462-2001, D.Lgs 81-2008, for all the buildings and structures listed at point 5.3 of the Performance Work Statement (PWS). The PWS will be posted along with the Solicitation. Location of the work: The service shall be performed in Camp Darby, Tirrenia (Pisa), Italy. Performance Period: The performance period is 15 July � 31 December 2026. Method of Contracting: This will be a Request for Quotation (RFQ) resulting in a Firm-Fixed Price type contract. Issuance of solicitation: The solicitation will be issued in the next few days. Response date: 30 May 2026, 12:00 PM �noon� (Local time, Rome, Italy) (Due-in date for the submittal of quotation) Site visit/ pre-quote conference: No site visit or pre-quote conference will be held. Important notice: Offerors are reminded that to be awarded a government contract you MUST: i. New Unique Entity Identifier (UEI). Be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) website (https://www.sam.gov/portal/public/SAM/). Please ensure that your firm is registered with SAM and all information is current. Within your SAM registration, please ensure the following required provisions are completed: 52.212-3 Offeror Representations and Certifications--Commercial Products and Commercial If you are not registered or your information is not current, you need to go to https://www.sam.gov/portal/public/SAM/ and fill out a web-based application. You must have a New Unique Entity Identifier (UEI) to start this process. Please begin the process as soon as you receive this RFQ to speed up the contracting process in the event that you are the winning bidder.
