The Information Directorate has ongoing classified computing, secure telephone, video-teleconferencing equipment, and secure networks in support of multi-domain environments that require continuous UPS services. These services must be maintained 24/7 due to critical communication requirements with USAF, Agencies, and other mission partners. The UPS system is the primary power supply backup platform. In order to prevent an interruption in services or loss of data related to the support being provided by this facility, procurement of a support maintenance contract covering hardware and software for this UPS is necessary in the event of a failure event related to the UPS system. Eaton is the manufacturer of the UPS system and has confirmed that they do not authorize any other service provider. Eatons products are constructed and designed by their employees to be worked on by their employees. All diagnostics and software adjustments are proprietary, should non-Eaton employed/certified technicians do any work on the UPS, any warranties would be void. This is a notice of proposed contract action and not a request for competitive proposals; however, all responsible sources may submit a capability statement or proposal, which shall be considered by the agency. All inquiries should be sent by email to Tabitha.Haggart@us.af.mil. Responses must be submitted by the date/time listed on the notice. Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government in future procurements. Responses received will be evaluated; however a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. The Government anticipates an award date on or before 27 July 2026. A Sole Source Justification will be attached to the subsequent Notice of Award in accordance with applicable regulation.
